First English Subbed Trailer for Macabre
Wednesday, May 27th, 2009Asian horror cinema looks to continue it’s climb back to relevancy (after a lengthy and boring detour into girl ghost land…) with Macabre–a gruesome looking chiller from Indonesia courtesy of the Mo brothers. The story (which finds a group of friends picking up a hitch-hiker, returning her home, then encountering her demented family in a fight for survival) isn’t particularly groundbreaking, but as the trailer demonstrates, the film looks like a gory good time. A pregnant woman wielding a chainsaw? Count me in.
