Adam Green’s latest film, Frozen, generated quite a bit of buzz when it played Sundance last week. The story of kids stuck on a ski lift in the middle of nowhere seems to really connect with audiences because it seems s0 plausible. If a horror film can make an audience put themselves into the character’s situation with minimal suspension of disbelief, it’s definitely doing something right.

The film is slated for a limited theatrical release next weekend, and to get everyone in the mood, here’s the latest TV teaser advertisement. There’s no chance in Hell that Frozen will play anywhere near me, but I hope some of you get the opportunity to see it on the big screen.

With the release of Left 4 Dead 2 just around the corner (it streets on November 17th for the PC and Xbox 360) expect to start hearing more about the game. Gamestop teamed up with Valve to create this new teaser commercial for the cooperative zombie-slaying game, which highlights not only a bit of what players can expect in the follow up to the wildly popular original, but to also convince players to pre-order their copy through Gamestop so they can procure the in-game American Baseball Bat weapon. Ah marketing…is there anything you won’t do?

I guess this means I need to get my red-ringed Xbox 360 fixed posthaste…

The Saw VI promotion machine is finally starting to run. Yesterday we got a new poster to ogle, today it’s a teaser television ad for Jigsaw’s latest adventure.

This short clip started airing last night–it’s about thirty seconds long, features Tobin Bell, and the carousel trap we saw a month or so ago. Looks like your typical Saw movie so far.

Saw VI finds Jigsaw up to his old tricks and will be in theaters on October 23rd.
