Check Out Drew Daywalt’s New Short: Suicide Girl

Mondays suck, but here’s something that should brighten your morning at least a little bit: a new short from filmmaker Drew Daywalt.

Daywalt’s been hard at work prepping his highly anticipated web series Camera Obscura, but he’s still found time to put up this new video, entitled Suicide Girl, on YouTube.

The short, which stars Adam Conn, Zoe Simpson, and and Brooke Wolfe is pretty exactly what the title says it is. And while the tale and ending may feel familiar to anyone who’s watched a lot of Asian horror films in the past decade, Daywalt manages to give us the entire tale in under four minutes as opposed to the normal 90…plus it’s very well shot, which still amazes me for shorts on YouTube.

Check out the full film below. It does have some language, so you might not wanna watch it at the office.

    Very short and succinct. In rare cases like this one 4 minutes > 90 minutes.
