Time Warner/Brighthouse Drops FEARnet

I’m not a particularly huge fan of cable companies (I think Comcast is Satan, for example) and I’ve been a loyal DirecTV customer for years, but I’m in Florida right now–and we have Brighthouse here. I haven’t really had any issues with the company–until their April 1st decision to stop carrying FEARnet’s on demand horror channel.
What this means is that if you have Time Warner or Brighthouse Cable, you’re now missing out on the ability to see a lot of free horror each month. Sure, FEARnet shows its fair share of clunker flicks, but there’s always something good in the mix too (like Night of the Creeps or this month’s showing of French horror flick Frontier(s)).
The question is, what can you do about it? I’m glad you asked.
Calling 1-877-FEAR-247 will get you in touch with the FEARnet folks, who will then connect you to your cable provider. From there, you can let Time Warner and Brighthouse know that you’d like FEARnet back, ASAP.
Having Chiller is nice, but there’s no such thing as too many horror options. Losing FEARnet is unacceptable. Be sure to call and make your voice heard.

This sucks! I have Verizon Fios and just noticed a few months back that we had Fearnet. I noticed recently that it’s no longer being carried by Verizon’s On Demand anymore. And we don’t get Chiller either.

I just wanted you to know that Comcast, which you referred to as Satan, owns FearNet.
